I like his cover of the Shakin' Stevens song "Oh Julie" the best, with "Some Kind of Friend" in at second :)

I forgot about Manilow with Kid Creole...that was weird!
Anyway, my favorite from the '80s is
"Some Kind of Friend"
because it had nifty little synth riff that made it almost New Wavey.
