hey i need help with this song , its pretty poular. it starts off :" a very good friend of mine told me the other day.."
Then, "were here for a good time, not a long time, so have a good time the sun can t shine everyday"any one know the name and singer. thanx , i d appreciate it.

It's from their 1977 album "Knock 'em Dead Kid" :)
