Was it supposed to be a comedy? I found nothing much too scary in it, and the "special effects" were anything but.

That movie sucked and you're right... the special effects weren't very *ahem* special ;)

I have it on VHS... Its hysterical... sure its cheesey, thats what makes it so great to watch.

I loved that movie. You need a sense of humor to enjoy a film like this. In the special features on the DVD, the director said it best when he stated that most people who have a problem with the film are generally not nice people (something like that). Most people who hate the film are probably a-holes IMO.

I remember seeing this film on cable at three in the morning... couldn't believe how cheezy it was!!! ;D
