My favorite is "Take on Me", but "Cry Wolf" would be second.

The Sun Always Shines on TV

Aside from "Gloria" by Laura Branigan, that is the most '80s song ever.  That's my #3, although "Living a Boy's Adventure Tale" and "I Dream Myself Alive" are pretty close.

I didn't really like "Stay on the Roads" at first, but now I love it :)

LOL How could you nit at first like it? It's one of the greatest ballads of the 80's O0

It's one of those songs you can't fully appreciate on first listen.  I felt the same about "Hunting High and Low", it's also good.  Not "Take on Me" or "Sun Always Shines on TV" good, but very good.  All of "Hunting High and Low" and alot of their other '80s stuff is brilliant.  Morten Harket is the best male singer ever.

In fact, he's probably the best singer ever.

"Take on me" because it's the only one I know, lol.

Hunting High and Low... would be my pick. I saw them live once. A very good show, the mix was very good. The vocals were not overpowered by the instruments. The only disappointing thing was the over abundance of teeny-boppers that made up the crowd.

"Here I Stand and Face the Rain".  IMHO the strongest track A-Ha has ever come out with.  This tune still amazes me some 20 (gulp) years after it came out.

I voted for The Sun Always Shines on TV. As much as I love Take on Me and its classic video, it's been way overplayed!  :)
