It was their second single.  As corny as it was, it was quite catchy, and gave then a top 10 hit in the UK with it 8)

The weird thing about it though is that if you ever see the music video for it, you'll notice it has completely different lyrics

There is nothing more disturbing to my brain cells than the thought of those two rapping.

Can you see George Michael as ghetto?  Maybe Andrew Ridgeley throwing down some old-school rhymes?

Uhhhhhhhhhh, no.

' Hey everybody take a look at me - I've got street credibility' - Err..no you don't

'I may not have a job,
But I have a good time,
With the boys that I meet "down on the line"...
GIVE A WHAM GIVE A BAM BUT DON'T GIVE A DAMN
COS THE BENEFIT GANG ARE GON!NA PAY!' Who are you kidding? Two middle class guys from London who have never ever needed to go down the job centre to sign on!

Then again, you gotta love Wham for their kitch value :D

Ridgeley sort of got a raw deal in Wham!  He co-wrote "Careless Whisper" which ended up being credited as a solo hit for George
