Both ran back to back on Saturdays. I like Amen, always a big Sherman Hemsley fan (soon to be on Surreal Life) followed by 227.

I loved both shows equally, but 227 got the edge, cause I loved the episode where they competed on Family Feud. That was awesome 8)

They show Amen on BET, or atleast they used to. I don't know what day or times though

I 3rd that one.. I just loved both shows.. I loved the old man Raleigh on Amen... He was so cute

I like parts of both shows.Amen I thought was funny because of Sherman and his sarcasm.I also liked how Thelma was always trying to hook up with Ruben...227 was funny as well.Liked the little romance between the teenage girl and Calvin.His grandmother(was her name Pearl?)was hilarious.Always sitting at her window watching everyone's business.

Amen was on the air longer than 227, but only by 1 year.

I watched both almost equally, but "227" I was sorta "forced" to watch with my mom, when I wanted to go to other stuff. "Amen" was always something we watched as a family and plus I enjoyed it a lot, too, so I never minded watching it.

I enjoyed both shows actually, but I think I liked 227 a bit more, as Jackee was a hoot as Sandra! ;D

I enjoyed both, but I think I liked "Amen" a little more because of Sherman Hemsley.
