Subject: Early 80's AOR

Written By: whistledog on 03/30/06 at 11:10 pm

Not sure if this has been discussed before, but does anyone else love the early 80's AOR songs.  The pop/rock and ballads that ruled the airwaves before New Wave kicked into high gear?

I love 'em all, but here's a few that I listen to the most lately ...

The Sun Ain't Gonna Shine Anymore - Nielsen and Pearson
I Want You, I Need You - Chris Christian
He Can't Love You - Michael Stanley Band
Never Been in Love - Randy Meisner
More Than Just the Two of Us - Sneaker
Heart Like A Wheel - Steve Miller
In Your Letter - REO Speedwagon
Never Be the Same - Christopher Cross
Play the Game - Kansas
Games People Play - Alan Parsons Project
Breaking Away - Balance
Sweet Baby - George Duke and Stanley Clarke
Not Another Lonely Night (Without You) - Franke and the Knockouts
Man on Your Mind - Little River Band
