I just read from the Associated Press, June Pointer of the hit 80's group Pointer Sisters has died of cancer.

I just read about June's passing. So very sad, as the Pointer Sisters are one of those R&B groups from the 80s that I really loved...

So what does this mean for the group's future?
The most heartbreaking part is, she was the youngest of them! :\'(
Tragic as it is, the music will live on, so it's a bit of comfort to know there'll always be a little of June around. As for the group, I read that her shoes are being filled (hopefully) by Ruth or Anita's daughter. Does that help?

I woke up to the sad news. I didn't know, but they were from West Oakland (not too far from me). Bless her soul.
