Sunday, Bloody Sunday & New Years Day-U2 about the Irish troubles. "Bloody Sunday" was January 30, 1972.

- It's an obvious refrence to what the city and or Germany was going through in the 80s

The song "Robert De Niro's Waiting" by Bananarama. I'm not sure what the song's about though, or why they mention De Niro.

"Lost behind the Wall" by Dokken - about life behind the Iron Curtain in the 80s.

God, I don't remember the last time I heard someone say the words "Iron Curtain". We heard it all the time back then.
