The cover I'm looking for was done in the 80's (I heard it for the first time in 1986).
It's a high-energy, dance type cover.
It was sung by a female.
The very beginning of the song sounds like a jail siren going off if an inmate is discoved to have escaped.
I've googled, wikipedia'd, msn music'd, etc. with absolutely zero resuts.
Someone here has to know the artist that covered this song in the 80's.
