-I think he was the first artist to explode with the '80s image.
-I think his success was based upon a combination of disco, Motown, and synth pop/pop-wave, largely creating the dance-pop and other styles that dominated '80s commercial music.
-I personally think his most consistent album was 1979's Off the Wall. Your opinions?
