Does anyone remember the 1981 song Homosapien by ex-Buzzcocks singer Pete Shelley?

It was a controversial song that was banned by the BBC for it's explicit reference to gay sex. It did not chart in either the UK Top 40 or US Hot 100, but apparently did quite well in the Dance Clubs

Here in Canada, we love sexually explicit songs. Homosapien reached #6 on the Canadian Singles Chart in July of 1982

Peter Shelley and Pete Shelley are two different folks. I just found this out. Peter Shelley was the producer behind many of Alvin Stardust's hits. Pete Shelley is the ex-Buzzcocks lead singer. Reviews at Amazon can confirm this ...
