Voted for I Don't Wanna Dance, but I do like all his songs, including the hits with the Equals.

"Electric Avenue"
It was not reggae per se, but reggae-influenced synth pop. The Earrons and Planet P Project would attempt the same with lesser success. Common misconception about Eddy Grant is that he is native to Jamaica. He was actually born in Guyana and brought up in the UK. He now operates out of Barbados. What is neat about Eddy is that he re-invested the money he made in a record label, Ice Records, which has been a great resource for Soca, Calypso, and "Ringbang" style Reggae.

Grant's anti-apartheid song "Gimme Hope Jo'anna" was a top 10 single in much of the world, but not in the U.S.

Seems like he was quite popular in the U.K.!
"Electric Avenue" gets my vote, as it is the only song of his that I know.

'Do You Feel My Love'
(as Mr. Philip says, his hits with the Equals were superb!)
For all you fans of 'Electric Avenue' (and there seems to be a few!), try and avoid the 2001 remix like the plague...utterly dire!

The classic 'I Don't Wanna Dance' gets my vote, but I also really liked that guitar vibe in 'Do You Feel My Love'.
'Electric Avenue' would trail in a poor 3rd place for me, it just doesn't grip me in the same way as the first two mentioned.
