I love how they add in the jingles for the Atari commercials to make a simple game seem like the greatest thing ever ;D

I love how they add in the jingles for the Atari commercials to make a simple game seem like the greatest thing ever ;D
Don't forget Atari's E.T. and the hype surrounding that game...
God, that had to be the worst. Didn't, like, a million of the things end up in a landfill, or something..? I can picture a neighborhood now resting atop of a landfill of long-buried E.T. cartriges like something out of Poltergeist...
And it would be just as frightening...

I actually liked Atari E.T. It was the only Atari game I could actually finish ;D
But it certainly wasn't worth the big bucks (can't remember how much it cost in those days) my mom paid for it back in the day LOL
