Subject: Girls' dolls that came with their own tiny doll

Help! I remember these dolls but can't remember their name. They were all girl dolls with different brightly colored hair, and each came with its own miniature version of herself. So you'd get the doll, and the doll had her own little doll. Does that make any sense?
I remember I got one that came with a matching nightgown.
And once there was an animated TV movie that featured them. Does anyone remember what these were called?
