Subject: My Buddy/My Kid Sister dolls

Written By: star500 on 08/17/06 at 12:55 pm

Does anyone remember the My Buddy dolls? They were really cute little boy dolls. They didn't talk or anything like that, they were more like big ragdolls. They had a button nose and freckles. They came in three different hair colours: blonde, brunette and redhead. They designed the same kind of dolls later in the '80s but called them My Kid Sister dolls and they were for girls.

My brothers had My Buddy dolls when they were little but as they got older, they went through this destructive stage and now they no longer have the dolls because they broke them. I have a Kid Sister doll myself, but she sits in my closet now because I have outgrown her.

I have included pictures of the dolls for people that don't remember them.

More like "My Down Syndrome Buddy."

Sorry, I hate to be so insensitive to the chromosomally challenged, but then again I enjoy it quite a bit.
