Subject: 80s HALLOWEEN Specials

Written By: mikeydude25 on 08/20/06 at 3:19 pm

Do you guys remember when cartoon specials would come on (in primetime!!!?%$#) for the Halloween season?  I've done some research online but I'm only coming up with a few different cartoon/live action specials.  I know there must've been tons more!  How about we compile a master list here:  If anyone knows of any live action specials, list those here too.

I know there was garfield, charlie brown, fat albert........

anyone want to help me out?

take care,

Mike

My personal favorite was actually done in the late '70s, but shown well until the early '90s!

It was called "Witch's Night Out"- starring the late Gilda Radner.

She was the voice of a witch who wanted to grant the kids' wish to become real monsters for Halloween.
Parents got pissed, somehow they worked it out, and the parents got into it too!

It was really cool...I haven't seen it in about 10 yrs.!

I especially loved the theme song for it- "Halloween/Witch Magic".
I used to watch it just to hear that song!

I loved the Halloween That Almost Wasn't.  It's the Great Pumkin Charlie Brown, and The Bugs Bunny Halloween Special. ;D
