here's an ANCIENT web site for the band with its old lineup. we have to update it for two personnel changes (including me, coming out -- er, on) and the song list is very different now, but it gives you a sense of what sort of thing we do -- which is amuse drunks, basically.

Mr Brownstone
Cum on feel the noise

The others I could take or leave.
One point though Michael..
You guys had a good set when I was there, but.. talk to Andre and get him to agree with this.
Mother & Bad Religion need to be included in your current set.

haha. mother by the police? surely not.
bad religion? the godsmack song? you'll be shocked but i actually learned that, we had it down. it's on our reserve list but they say they don't get a good reaction with it. too heavy with the one open chord, i imagine. i dunno.

if you had to narrow it down to one ultimate tubes song, which would you pick?
i know almost nothign about them but i'm willing to pitch one if i know which would be the most likely for a contemporary crowd to get into...

Well, the one most synonymous with the Tubes, '80s-wise, is "She's A Beauty".
However, I would also recommend the following:
-Talk To Ya Later
-Amnesia
-Attack Of the 50' Woman
-Wild Women Of Wongo
-Sushi Girl
You may find these on either "The Completion Backward Principle", or "Outside/Inside" LPs.
Easy enough to download, I should think.
Contact me PM, if you have any other questions!
