Subject: "Have a Little Faith In Me" - John Hiatt [1987]

Written By: Goldie77 on 08/22/06 at 8:30 am

Released in May 1987 on his "Bring The Family" album.  What does everyone else think of this song?  It has me in tears everytime I listen to it.  The piano throughout the song is beautiful and gives you goosebumps.  I especially love the first 25 seconds of the song with the piano by itself, it seems like a simple little tune on the piano, but it's so beautiful and sad. For some reason the song reminds me of a snowy christmas by yourself and no family around. :\'(  Anyone else like the song?

I love this song. I think they played it on an episode of, "Dawson's Creek" one time.  I also believe that Mandy Moore did a remake of this song at one point.
