Mine is "Fantastic" by Wham!  Quite cheesy I know, but it's the only original album i've heard by any artist where I enjoyed every song

If we had the old search engine back then new posters would know that. Otherwise it means sifting through pages of threads.

It is a very overlooked album.  Most people go for great albums based on quality in lyrics, music, yada yada blah blah ;D

It's all about what catches my ear, and every song on "Fantastic!" did just that 8)

I love Big Hits '87, though I loved "Big Hits Eighty-Six" more.  '87 had "Teenland" on it, a song which I never liked before, but has grown on me ;D

I know the question wasn't a plural, but I have to add how I still love Whitney's first 2 albums. She's not the same Whitney we know and love, but she should never be forgotten for her classy efforts in 85 and 87.

Those were her golden years.  Once she hit the 90s, she really started to go downhill  :\'(

I have both those albums on LP and I listen to them quite often.  Awesome material 8)

If "Human Nature" was on "Off the Wall" I would be that much happier and would probably never give "Thriller" a second thought or listen.
Please let me never hear "Beat It" again.  ;D

There are so many...I couldn't possibly pick one for the dozen ways an album can be a favorite.  The first one that leaps to mind if you say "Favorite '80s album" is

DEPECHE MODE: BLACK CELEBRATION

Other favorites include:

A Flock of Seagulls: Listen
The Smiths: Meat is Murder
Psychedelic Furs: Forever Now
New Order: Low-Life
The Cure: The Head on the Door
The Fixx: Shuttered Room
Front 242: Official Version
Shriekback: Oil and Gold
Heaven 17: The Luxury Gap
Human League: Dare!
Laurie Anderson: Mister Heartbreak
Aztec Camera: High Land, Hard Rain
Ministry: Twitch
Culture Club: Kissing to be Clever
Icicle Works: s/t

....and so on and so on and so on....

I love that album.  The CD version is cool .. it comes with an onion skin sleeve, that contains 4 post-card size photos of each member

That album by Robbie Robertson was self-titled.  "Showdown at Big Sky" was one of the tracks on that album, and as a single became very successful all over Canada :)

Yet another song that had slipped through the cracks until ktelqueen's post...

Showdown at Big Sky was one of my very  first cassingles groove ;) on...
