Subject: Please help me figure out this toy I had as a kid.

I am sorry about how vague this description is going to be but I will do my best. It was a rather large dune/sand buggy of sorts that had a handle stick shift on the back. It was between 1 to 2 Feet long and yellow in color.( I think ) The 4 tires were rubber strips joined at both ends in a long cylinder / tube shape and would flair out into bigger tires when more traction was needed, like the shape of a kitchen whisk. Could have been something like a G I Joe type vehicle but I don't think it was. I don't think it was battery powered but may have been. Try looking on Ebay, under Vintage or Classic 'Toys' department. I have found stuff there that I had very vague memories of as a kid. You might even find what you're loooking for on Auction.com. I have found some real classic beauties (even cosmetics!) there also.
