There was a PSA that used to scare the $h!t outta me. There was a close up of a young girls face and happy birthday was playing in the backround and music became more and more distorted till finally you realize that she's dead and they cover her with a sheet. Man, I got chills writing that..lol. Does anyone remember that? and even better doen anybody have the clip? this is an awesome site by the way!

No I don't actually remember that PSA. I remember one similar though and no one but my best friend remembers it or even believes it exists: It's a girl, standing in front of a mirror, brushing her hair and looking in the mirror and they are playing some old song in the background, I think it might have been Venus by Frankie Avalon or something like that and then all of a sudden right in front of the mirror she starts to age and turn into a old lady but she kind of looked like a witch too. I'm not sure what it was a PSA for though. It used to scare me and my friend. I think I saw it when I was about 8 years old, it's kind of too bad no else remembers it though. I think I'm crazy because no one else remembers it. :-\\

it sounds vaguely familiar. was it an anti drug one ?

I can't say I remember those specifically, but they sound like the kind of anti-drug spots that were going around in those days.

  Remember the "This is your brain on drugs" PSA..?  There was a funny parody of this serious subject on a poster I remember from the late eighties, "This is your brain on drugs - This is your brain with a side order of bacon and hash browns" or something...
