So - how many were there?
I'm trying to think of a show in particular that had a black guy who was bald...? "Something-hawk?"

Streethawk?
There was one called Spenser: For Hire, but that was more of a detective show

I'll leave the black/white cop thing alone until I get some more energy. It'd end up like a dissertation. Maybe someone else will chime in. I think it must have been covered before somewhere on the web. Miami Vice, Beverly Hills Cop, Lethal Weapon, etc. etc. etc.

That would be the show. He also played Captain Sisko, one of my Star Trek captains, on the underrated series, Deep Space Nine.

Riggs and Murtaugh from the Lethal Weapon series is also memorable.

what about tenspeed & brownshoe w/ Jeff Goldblum and Ben Vereen Okay they were private eyes but they fit the other criteria
