My mum used to make me play a really lame game with dice called Yahtzee. You scored for different combinations thrown. Yawn!

Oh my God, yes! I actually used to belong to A Trivial Pursuit club. It was huge in the 80s. We even used to play in my local wine bar (also a very 80s thing). I still play occasionally.

Being that I was a little kid then, I remember playing all kinds of little-kid oriented games. And some games that people of any age could technically play.
Chutes & Ladders
Up-Words
...and a few others that I cannot think of right now.

Sorry! was the first board game I remember playing but I also played Perfection, legoes, play-doh, Scrabble, Upwords, Snakes and Ladders, Monopoly (although it took a while to understand it) and Socrates, an educational console some of you may remember.

I played all of those except for Socrates. We also loved Mouse Trap, Candyland, Hi Ho Cherry O, Twister, Connect 4, Spirograph and Clue.

I loved playing Yahtzee, though we called it Kniffel as my Mum's set, like her, came from Germany.

I like Yahtzee - it's frustrating as hell, but pretty fun.

Meh - I don't care if it's spam - it's a good topic. I didn't even notice a quiz at the bottom until you brought it up. I got 1300.

I was only Born in 86 but I remember playing both Pacman and some Circus game when I was very young (the family would take turns and pass around) on the Commodore 64.
I would have said Flymbo's Quest as well but from I what I remember that wasn't released untill 1990.
