Subject: Maisonettes - Heartache Avenue

The Maisonettes was a British project, started by singer Lol Mason, formerly of the 70s band City Boy (remember their 1978 hit "5705"). "Heartache Avenue" was released in 1982, and became a BIG hit, reaching #7 in the UK (December 1982) and #12 in Canada (July 1983). Sadly, it didn't chart in America at all. Their 1983 album "Maisonettes For Sale" produced several more singles, but they never got into the chart again
