Does anyone remember a toy from the 80's (maybe not specifically from then, but that's when I got it for Christmas) that helped you to hear things that were far away? It came with a headset and a cone that you would hold in the direction of what you wanted to hear, push a button, and you could hear it. it was so cool but i remember it breaking very soon after I got it, maybe even the same day. I don't remember ever seeing it again after that so I have a feeling my parents just returned it instead of exchanging it.

you could try looking at inthe80s.com toy list to see if any of the names ring a bell.
