I like his Picture This to Fore! era, as well as his last "eighties" album, 1991's Hard At Play.

I guess "If This is It" if I had to go with one song.

Sure is...

It was covered by Dave Edmunds (flip side to 'Girls Talk') long before anyone knew who Huey Lewis was!

From the above, 'If This is It' brings back some happy memories... :)

Here's some more Lewis-Edmunds' related trivia ...

On Nick Lowe's 1985 hit "I Knew the Bride (When She Used to Rock and Roll)", Huey Lewis produced and sang back-up, while all the members of the News performed the instruments.  Lowe originally wrote the song for Edmunds, whose 1977 version remains more successful

Stuck With You for me too! It reminds me of school bus rides in 1986.  :)

I am listening to the CD: 'The Heart of Rock & Roll: The Best of Huey Lewis and the News' which was the first greatest hits CD of his hits.  Further ones released in later years had more hits, but I still like this one the best as it has the best album art.

I chose "The Heart of Rock and roll", "Do you believe in love" and "The Power of love", and I liked his appearance in "Back to the future".

I'm surprised that Marty would NOT pick Power Of Love (My Pick!)
