How did the Philip Eno piano version turn out?

'Too Late For Goodbyes' brings back happy memories...

When it was first played on the radio, he sounded so much like his father that if his father was still alive, he'd have sued!

Too Late for Goodbye is still a cool song. Valotte was another good tune.

I chose 'Valotte'.  'Too Late For Goodbyes' would be my close second.

In 'Valotte' it's kinda eerie how much Julian sounds like his beloved and much missed dad...

The William Orbit Mix of "Now You're In Heaven". 8)  "Too Late For Goodbyes" is my second fave.

Did you know that Julian Lennon is the son of John Lennon, the lead singer/guitarist from the obscure British band The Quarrymen?

I think if John Lennon had lived to have a true '80s solo career, it would've been pretty Valotte-esque.

But yeah I like "Too Late For Goodbyes", being of his few upbeat pop hits. I honestly could never get into the song "Valotte", though.

Too late for goodbyes was written for his dad, if you watch the beatles anthology there is reference to that.

I chose it as my favourite song though Saltwater is a very close second.
