OMG LOL a friend of mine brought them up last night during our weekly 80's seance/dinner. She said they had long hair and sang "Livin on a Prayer". I vaguely remember them but kinda. It was so funny we laughed for about 2 1/2 hours about it. They were so cute in a dirty rat-boy way. But they sang "livin on a prayer" supposedly. They were around in the 80's. They were long-haired guys who wore jeans and played guitar. They were popular aruond 1980's.

I don't know if this is a joke or not (did Jon Bongiovi have screws in tires too? ;D )
Assuming it's serious....Bon Jovi are one of the few hair metal bands that has some transcendance and critical respect now. I see them as being the peak of the hair metal era (which spanned 1983-1991, probably from "Cum On Feel the Noize" to "To Be With You"). In fact, Slippery When Wet is what really commercialized and poppified it.
So yes, alot of people "remember" them.

Wasn't Bon Jovi that Adult Comtemporary group that sang folk songs in the key of C?

we talked with the "where's the beef" lady and "the plane! the plane!" guy... they were kinda dull though. the best luck we've had was talking to The Smurfs. but they were kinda blue.

I had a poster on my bedroom wall, in which Jon was wearing leopard print spandex tights and I think a purple PVC vest, exposing his very hairy chest. Scary stuff! ::)
