Subject: What's the name is this movie?

I'm trying to find a title of a made for TV movie about people going out on a Saturday night to a pick up bar. It had various characters and was about all of them going there to try and find love. There were two girls that were friends. When one of them was getting ready (putting on her makeup) at home, I remember Tracy Ullman's song "They Don't Know" was played in the background. Another was a married man who went to the bar and dropped his wedding ring down the sink drain in the men's bathroom. He spent most of the night trying to get it back. I had to be from 1984 because that's same year when Tracy Ullman's song was being played. I don't remember any of the actors/ actresses that were in it.
