Subject: What was the last one hit wonder of the 80's?

From what tunecaster.com says, Marcia Griffiths was the last one hitter in the 80s, with Electric Boogie. However, I thought there was another one after that.

That took its time getting across the pond...it was originally released in Europe in 1983!

Can't call her a one-hitter in Britain, as it never charted!

I suppose the last British one-hitter that decade was the horrendous remake of 'Do They Know It's Christmas?' by Band Aid II, which like the original, was strictly a one-off...

It was the final British #1 of that decade...

In Canada, the last one hit wonder to chart in the 80s was a song called '245 Days' by Peter Himmelman.  It peaked at CAN #77, and spent 8 weeks in the chart, the last of which was on December 23, 1989

I do not recall this song, nor do I recognize the singer.  A google search tells me that he is Bob Dylan's son-in-law
