You remember Micheal Pare from 'Streets of Fire' and 'Eddie and the Cruisers' beautiful looking guy dont know what happened to him. Is he still acting?

He played the older version of the high school heart-throb in the movie "The Virgin Suicides" a few years back. Bit part, but a decent job in the role.
So yep, he's still acting...

He's still working....see his credits here
he's got 9 projects listed for 2008. Two 4 are completed and 5 are in post production....unfortunately they are films titled Ninja Cheerleaders and Alone in the Dark II
I think he tried to make too many "action flicks" in the 80s/90s (like C. Thomas Howell) and wasn't as picky as he should have been so he fell into the void of really bad films ala Dolph Lundgren.
I liked him too tho.

He pretty much does direct to video movies now. The last theatrically released movies that I recall seeing him in was 'Hope Floats' and 'The Virgin Suicides'

I ALWAYS get the two confused - Eric Roberts and Michael Pare. LOL.

thanks for posting the pic. My god he was beautiful man but father time was not kind to him then again he may have fall victim to drugs or alcohol. No doubt that a man can hit the wall as well.
