I've been getting into 'Rock Lobster' lately. Back in 1980, it went all the way to #1 in Canada (believe me, I am as much surprised about that as you)

One of my favorite bands EVER. They are awesome live. Have a great time.
Anyway,
I went with "Other" as "Song for A Future Generation" and "Give Me Back My Man" are my favorites.

I liked Rock Lobster, Love Shack and Roam the most.
In the charts....Love Shack made it to #1 in Aus ....and Rock Lobster got to #3

In the US, it didn't do well on the charts at all. :-\\

i also like the deadbeat club! heck i like all their songs! :) one that never got airplay was the last song on cosmic thing, its called "follow your bliss", no vocies just the band playing, it sounds really different for them, and a great song to end the cd with!

That is a big mystery yes. There's alot of people out there who don't even know that the B-52s had many hits before 'Love Shack'

I've always tended to like the less-popular songs of popular bands. The B's are one of my all-time favorite groups, and are an amazing live band. So much fun! They're touring now to support their new album, Funplex, which is awesome. I'm going to try to see them in Atlantic City in June.
My favorites are "Party out of Bounds", from their 2nd album, Wild Planet; "Bushfire", from Cosmic Thing; and "Pump", from the new Funplex album. All the songs on the new album are so sexy!

Without a doubt-Rock Lobster. I remember in high school trying to convince a friend there was such a song. :D ;D ;D
