I still have my old high school cross country uniform which included a pair of red & white striped Dolphin shorts.  Have you tried Dolphin's website? I used to get this uniform magazine called Eastbay which had every imaginable color combination of Dolphin shorts, but I believe that you had to order in quantity.  Worth a check, good luck!

the only ones on ebay are orange hooters ones and the 'new' dolphins only in solid colors
& there doesnt seem to be a dolfin website. :(

I wish you luck with this!
I researched and found a pair of blue and white ones, half and half, to the tune of a whopping $150!!! :o
They don't make them that way anymore, so you would have to buy them from a vintage seller on the 'net.
That's a bit pricey for a halloween party though.
