Have to confess ... when it comes to 'duets' ... I'm generally lukewarm ... preferring solo efforts.  Even the George Michael / Elton John (admittedly from 1991)  ...  'Don't let the sun go down on me' ... well ... even though Elton did the original ... for me ... much better on his own !

From above offerings ^  .. I'd definitely pick (agree with )

Billy Preston & Syreeta - With You I'm Born Again

'With you I'm born again' ... and ...

On My Own - Patti LaBelle and Michael McDonald

I guess Hall & Oates qualify as a duo ? (the most successful duo in US chart history) ... so songs such as 'Kiss on my list' 'Private eyes'; 'Maneater' and 'Say it isn't so'  would be there (not to mention 'She's gone' except that's from '76 ).

Oh yes ... very nearly forgot about THIS somewhat obscure one (did get a lot of radio play, at the time)  ...

'Smiling Islands'~Robbie Patton & Stevie Nicks ... 1982. VERY nice.

Love Islands in the Stream, but I don't know who Barry Gib is... I know the Dolly-Kenny version.

Barry Gibb is one of the Bee Gees.  Islands in the Stream was written by The Bee Gees.  I haven't heard the song in a long time, but I do believe Barry is heard singing backup

Those you listed were great duets of all time how can I have forgotten them. I thought of some more I should've included

'How do you keep the music playing?' by Patti Austin and James Ingram
"Almost Paradise" by Mike Reno and Ann Wilson
"Next Time I Fall" by Peter Cetera and Amy Grant
"Hold Me" by Whitney Houston and Teddy Pendergrass
" We Got Tonight" by Sheena Easton and Kenny Rogers
"Friends and Lovers" by Carl Anderson and Gloria Loring

Of course "Endless Love" is a classic and thank you for the correction of "Islands in the Stream" by Kenny Rogers and Dolly Parton. I thought of "Secret Lovers" by Atlantic Starr though its a great duet the members are in the same group, does it still qualify? and how about the Pet Shop Boys and Dusty Springfield " What have I done to deserve this?"
