Subject: The Great Record Album Collection. Does anyone remember this?

Written By: on 01/30/09 at 12:51 pm

I remember watching this quite religiously on weekdays on WUTV 29 when I was about 6 years old and visiting with my dad.    I didn't quite understand it but this is how I was exposed to a lot of the music that I like now.  It was a great show to watch whenever there was nothing else on.
It wasn't just American acts that were on this show.  This is how all of those old British and Canadian pop acts got their exposure in the American market.

I remember seeing Tears For Fears' song Pale Shelter, Culture Club's Karma Kamellion, and Duran Duran's Is There Something I Should Know on this show.
