Subject: Looking for a show

I don't have much to go on.  I remember seeing this show when I was about 8-10, which would have been late 80s early 90s.  Actually, I only remember parts of it.  It seemed to be a show based on mixed up fairy tales, and other magical/fantasy things.  One part I remember vividly was this chair that had an eye on it.  You couldn't look at the eye, but you had to sit on the chair in order to free the prisoners, so the person walked backwards to sit on the chair.  I also remember something about Snow White, and a garden.  It seemed to be some sort of maze or labyrinth adventure, maybe a castle.  I'd really like to figure out what this show was.  If the chair thing jogs anyone's memory, please let me know.
