So...this is the later LRB we are talking about?  I liked mostly there earlier hits with 'Reminiscing' and 'It's A Long Way' There being perhaps my favourites...

Of the post Glenn Shorrock hits ...I liked Down On The Border (with Farhnam out front) and Night Owls (Wayne Nelson lead)...

My all-time favourite LRB song is the Farnham sung 'We Two'.  Ideally though, I like Farnham better on his own.  To me, 'Time Exposure' is one of the greatest albums in the history of recorded music

As a solo artist, the only hit he had in the US Hot 100 was 'You're the Voice' which reached #82 in 1990 when it was re-released by his record label.

As voice of LRB, he did better stateside than in Canada.  Along with the aforementioned ones (which both saw the US Top 30), he also scraped the US Top 40 hit with 'You're Driving Me Crazy' and a minor hit with 'Playing to Win'

Just listened to Tom Kimmel's original version and it is great. I may even like it more than Farnham's version (although it sounds like Farham copied it wholly).

... although Farnham is great live

Nice song.

"Other" for me.

Although it didn't make Top 40, "You're Driving Me Out Of My Mind" (1983) gets my vote. It only made #51, sadly.

Think again! He also had (moderate) success in Holland.

While I'm a fan of his voice ... I have never owned an album or seen him live.  So...you may not be in the minority so much after all. Plus he is always making another comeback concert tour ... maybe I actually will pay to see him someday. His stage humour just bugs me...

I've always been more of a fan of his really early stuff. I hear he is a really nice person but he bugs me too for some reason...
