Subject: Sax song!

Written By: Trace on 11/25/09 at 4:38 am

Im not sure how this works, Im desperately looking for an 80's dance song. It was released on a
compilation album round 86 or 87. Its a saxophone song with NO LYRICS, it has an upbeat electronic tune that goes
with it. Can anybody out there help me!

Do you remember any of the other songs on the compilation album?

Not within the years you specified, but the first thing I thought of was 'Lily Was Here' by David A. Stewart and Candy Dulfer?

Or from circa 1983, there is 'Garden Party' by Mezzoforte

Lilly Was Here - David A. Stewart (1989).  Has the sax and the electronic beat with guitar.  Check it out.

Yeah, that's the one I thought of, Kenny G, I mean stipulating for sax through and no lyrics.

I thought this thread said "Sex Song!" but I would!

The other day I was sorting through our jazz archive, I ran across one album by some fruitcake called, "Saxual"  (the album that is, not the fruitcake), and I had to get rid of a compilation called "Sax in the City"!

I also immediately thought of the Candy Dulfer sax in that song...
