Subject: Need help remembering the name of an 80's toyset

Ok 80's kids -

when I was about.... 8-9 years old, would've been 86-87, I won a toy set from a contest I'd entered. it was an almost-robot set, it had a fortress with a snake that what would eject with a lever, the arms/legs came off from the figures, and could be put in different places on them...I cannot for the life of me remember what they are called, anyone out there remember what I'm talking about?
