Subject: Favorite music videos of 1989

It was the end of the decade.  Pop music had taken a turn away from my tastes, but there were still some gems:

MAX Q: WAY OF THE WORLD

Prophesy on a Biblical-level.  Do note the shot of the Twin Towers towards the end.

No song makes me feel more nostalgic for the 80's. I could almost hear them waving goodbye. :(

I used to have an audio only video of this song on YouTube that I used as background music for Myspace.  One day, Simon Scardenelli, the British half of the group, contacted me on YouTube to say he'd uploaded the actual video.  Him and I then had a long conversation about his Big Bam Boo days.  It was as though I was the first fan he'd talked with who actually remembered them.

And of course, the song which has gone down in history as the last #1 hit of the 80's.
Very apropos, I thought, that such a touching song topped the charts on Christmas Eve.

Possibly the catchiest song of '89. I once heard someone on the radio call it "The only history lesson that comes with a dance track!" :D Concept for the video was basically the kitchen being silent witness to all of a family's history.

And now, Let's just dance!
