One of my favorite years of pop music; just listen to a Top 40 today and it just doesn't compare today!

I chose 3 from your list...

a-ha - Take On Me
Huey Lewis & The News - The Power Of Love
Mr Mister - Broken Wings

I would have chosen two more (not in the list)

Would I Lie To You - The Eurythmics
Money For Nothing - Dire Straits

Mike + the Mechanics were my favourite band in the 80s to also have success in the 90s, so naturally, I went with 'All I Need is A Miracle'.

Others:

♦ Close My Eyes - Paul Janz
♦ At the Feet of the Moon - Parachute Club
♦ Black Cars - Gino Vannelli
♦ High on You - Survivor

Julian Lennon - Valotte
Tears for Fears - Everybody wants to rule the world
Wham - Careless whisper
Bryan Adams - Summer of '69
Bryan Adams - Heaven
Tears for Fears - Head over heels.

Oh wow...if Boys of Summer and Summer of '69 were in that list...I would have  chosen them first!  They are two of my favourite songs...and in such a crappy music year too.  :o
