Lots of great stuff here with Hair Metal peaking! Sorry that you can only vote once for this poll.

Once again...the music was moving away from my tastes by this time. As I only had one choice on the poll...I chose Kokomo - Beach Boys

I aslo liked Wild, Wild West - Escape Club & Robert Palmer- Simply Irresistable

Only 1 vote??? Ultimately I gave it to "Fast Car", but there's so much more on that list. I always love a Gloria ballad and Whitney was still great.

I agree with gibbo, I only gave 1 vote, and for Kokomo as well.

Another one from '88 that I still love is the great Canadian classic 'Hold Me Now' by One to One.  Singer Louise Reny was smokin' hot!  Sadly, she don't look like this anymore ...

^ Yes.... I remember Teardrops...and it was a very catchy tune...with a low budget but effective video. They were so deadpan....

I really like Kylie Minogue - I Should Be So Lucky. I mean, it's bubblegum and underrated but I just like it in combo with its video which is cool.
It's one of the few songs from the second part of the 80's I like. I generally prefer the early 80's. The way the video is done looks more like from the early 80's actually. It's so raw and innocent. Besides, it's the best song SAW ever made IMO. I was born in 1988, so I don't remember the 80's, but in 2002-2005 I was listening/watching So 80s on VH1, so I know something about it. Thing is now when I hear this song, it reminds me of my junior high days in the early 00's.

A lot of great songs on the list, but the one that defined the late 80's for me is Love Bites, luv it.

I've been listening to Martika all this week. Whilst I remember this song very well I like it much more now than I did then.

I've been recently going through old chart listings to get every song that charted in Canada during the 1980s and I found some gems I either never knew about or had forgotten about.

I still love this one ...

Scarlett and Black - You don't know

Nice track. The beginning intro reminds me of "Everybody Wants To Rule The World".
