These type of books seemed to be very popular back in the 80s.

I loved reading The Babysitters Club, Sweet Valley High, and Sweet Valley Twins series back in those days.  :)

Had to go with "other".

As a male, I was all about the Choose Your Own Adventure series.

For those who don't remember, enjoy Tentacular Tentacular, and have a happy belated April Fool's Day!)

I loved the Choose Your Own Adventure books! Didn't read much else, except for the Secret Seven series by Enid Blyton, but they weren't exclusively 80s.

I'm surprised not many people heard about these books. They were rather popular in my town. Don't know if any of you read or remember hearing about the book called, "The Against-Taffy-Sinclair Club" but that's where the series evolved from.

There was a series I read in the late 80's... of course I can't remember what it was called at all.

But here is the kicker - I got them by buying these Teen Hygiene Packs - shampoo and razors and toothpaste, and a book came in each bag! I bought probably about 5 of them trying to collect the whole series!

The only storyline I remember is this girl was turning 16 and her parents built her a small house of her own in their backyard. I have tried a keyword search for the book but have had no luck! I wish I could remember because I really enjoyed those books! lol

I read the Babysitter Club and Sweet Valley Twins religiously when I was in elementary and junior high. Those were my books!

When I was young it was Nancy Drew and Sherlock Holmes.

Since I was born in the 60's I was a little old for these series.

I did read the Flowers in the Attic books by VC Andrews.
