60!  No idea he was that old.

I never really had one favourite.  Choosing just one is like squeezing toothpaste back into the tube.

He was in his thirties when he finally hit really big with the Sports album and its highly charting singles, thus he was a little bit older than groups such as U2 and Depeche Mode who were famous the world over before they were 21!

He had an aw-shucks Al Bundy thing going, which was endearing, but not enduring.

Endearing but not enduring, Max? Then why is Huey still selling out concerts? I'm going to see him(AT LAST! ;D ) this Friday Night!

BTW, did anyone see his guest spot on the sitcom Hot In Cleveland last week? A gig there nearly 30 years ago inspired him to write "The Heart Of Rock & Roll"! originally the line went 'is in Cleveland' rather than 'is still beating', but they opened the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame there just 5 years later, so it turns out Huey was right!

Jerry Falwell said ET was the devil.
Pat Robertson said all Rock 'n' Roll songs were written by Satan.
So what's one to conclude?

ET wrote all Rock 'n' Roll songs.

(as ET was the devil)
:D
