Hi! I have been trying to find info on a 1980's candy (mint?). I am looking for a tiny candy like mint that was about the size of an eraser head, but was slightly concave. It also packed a lot of flavor in the tiny piece. I think it came in fruit flavors. It's not the Dynamint. If anyone can help me figure this out, I would really appreciate it!! Also, my friend who has been trying to remember it too, thought it came in a round container that dialed them out. I do not remember this though.

I think those were made outta soap or something. They were pretty nasty. I can understand breath mints, but that stuff smelled like fresh plastic!

Thanks for the reply. But no they were definitely not velamints. Velamints are about the size of a life saver. These were tiny like a tic tac. Maybe they were sold as a candy not mint. They were good and fruity. You would pop a few in your mouth at once.

My sister had such awful food allergies, that velamints were the ONLY candy she could eat 8-P. I still nightmare about the vanilla-mint flavored ones. 8-P

Thank you Kelly! They were the Tart n Tiny!!! I was able to look up more info on them, and that has to be it. I remember calling them tiny tarts. But maybe that was something else too.

Velamints! My old man used to keep them around as breath mints. It was like eating a piece of saccharine-coated porcelain!
