I still have AFOS pins from 1983! I wouldn't part with them for anything! Where I lived, only girls, gay boys, and me liked AFOS. For me to wear those pins was a badge of defiance! I have pins from New Order, Psychedelic Furs, and The Fixx. Somehow that pocket of paraphernalia survived all these years. I have a Fixx pin from 1984 affixed to my visor. It's the band in silhouette with one pointing to a light in the sky. That would have been the year of the (boring) "Phantoms" album.
