Subject: 80's game/s

I am trying desperately to remember the name of a game or games I used to have. I'm not sure if I am thinking of two seperate games or if it was all one but the main things are remember are -
cardboard blocks or bricks - I know you could open them and there was something inside of all or soem of them
square laminated pictures - they were scenes with hidden pictures in them, I'm pretty sure they were numbered and that there was a booklet that told you what pictures you had to find in each numbered scene
