Subject: Looking for lyrics to an obscure 80's song

Written By: Troy on 12/07/11 at 9:57 am

Hi there. So I'll perform this obscure 80's song on a talent show as the performer has the same singing voice like mine. However, it's way too obscure so I can't find any lyrics on the web. Can you help me?

The song:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bMXr7xEhNGc

And these are the lyrics I wrote by listening to it, but I cannot hear some parts (in red) (because it's an Italian guy singing probably ;)):
Any help will be appreciated! :)

I'm dreaming of you everyday, baby
and I'm thinking that's a game, maybe
You give another later sound
because I must've kissed your mind.
(...)

Chorus:
You take me now and I'm with you
Don't leave me no more
I've got your soul
I've got your soul, baby
...
I want you now and I'm with you
Don't leave me no more
I want your soul
I've got your soul, baby

I'm looking for your magic eyes, baby
you are my only paradise.
I wanna play the game tonight
because I wanna be alright.
I want to live with you this day, baby
because you've got my only way.
Give me your mind up and your heart
Give me your love...
(...)

Chorus
(instrumental break)

I'm searching for a decent bride, baby
I love you and you will be mine, maybe
I want to live with you this day, baby
because she's got my only way.
I'm looking for your magic eyes, baby
you are my only paradise.
I wanna play the game tonight
because I wanna be alright.
(...)

Chorus

I'm dreaming of you everyday, baby
...that's a game, maybe
You must ???

Chorus
(instrumental)

I don't know the song at all, so I'm facing the same troubles you are, but I'm willing to give it a shot.

I'm pretty sure the second line should be 'And I'm thinking that's okay, maybe'.
No idea (yet) on the third and fourth line. :-\\

I want your soul

That's all I got for now. Maybe I'll give it another listen later today.

Thanks!
Btw, no mater how many times I listen to it, I always hear "I'm with you". But yep, he's not a native speaker. ;)

I'm dreaming of you every day, baby
And I'm thinking that's a game, maybe
You give another little sound
Because I must have kissed your mind

Henk might be right with anew rather than with you

I might be right, but somehow it doesn't "feel" right, considering the rest of the lyrics are somewhat...well, simple. :-\\

Good song!  I always like that Italo-Disco.

Me too, I'm a fan of Italo Disco myself.

That too, but if anyone can decipher the undecipherable, it's him.

Better late than never!

I'm waiting of you every day, baby (which doesn't make as much sense unless it's a non-English language translated quickly/poorly, which it might be if it's Italo enough)
I'm dreaming of you every day, baby
And I'm thinking (that's OK, maybe)
You give another little sound
Because I must have kissed your mind (It was 1984.  Even if it doesn't rhyme, "mind" is the only word he could have gotten away with on the air. :)

I'm searching for you, please don't cry, baby,
I love you and you will be mine, maybe
I (live a lonely everyday?)
because (she's got? she's stopped?) my only way.

Chorus:  I'm with Henk, but I'm guessing on some of those.

And then: (2:10ish)

"Give me your mind up and your heart
Give me your love..."

*boggle*

...and I haven't a clue how to end that one.  Gonna take more drinks.  Or fewer drinks.  And more time.

So we're after Mr. Rocambole, I've Got Your Soul, from 1984.

This is a tough one.  For everyone.  Good news is "another little sound" beats the lyrics on discogs.com.  We will solve this one.
