He could definitely pull off Ferris Bueller after 25 years especially at his age.

Ferris Bueller's Laid Off would make a mint at the BO!!!

Seriously? A commercial for a car?? Wake up and smell the cash! A sequel would be a sure fire hit in my book.

If he could have at some point ran over Tracy Flick (Reese Witherspoon) then this commercial would have been perfect.  ;D

I think its all pretty damn lame...almost sad really.

If you think about it, Ferris was all about being young and carefree. He was a youth taking the time to enjoy his life despite the rules and authority around him.

And now...now, hes grown up and driving a...HONDA CR-V?

One of the most "beige", boring, appliance-like, and soccer mom crossover SUV's there is? Really? I have had more exciting drives picking my nose than anyone could driving a Honda anything of late. These cars should come with alarms to keep you from falling asleep at the wheel.

A Honda CR-V will never see as much excitement as getting in a traffic jam trying to get out of the school parking lot after a JV baseball game or being overfilled with groceries from the local Piggly-Wiggly.

When did Ferris grow up and become so damn average and boring?

The average Joe drives a crossover SUV, everyone drives them. Sick of seeing them on the road. I drive one of the damn things now (and not proud of it).

A useless crossover SUV's that have no purpose or use to its owner, and it will never see a second off road or fulfill any of its supposed capabilities, nothing more that a normal station wagon thats jacked up about two feet higher (thats what its really used as, a station wagon for our times)....and a crossover SUV isn't even capable of real off-road use anyway, so whats the point?

Ferris would NEVER drive something so base as a CR-V.

Ferris is supposed to be different and enjoying his life by not following the norm.

He was driving in a FERRARI in the movie, a classic in your face RED sports car! (Well it wasn't a real Ferrari, but still...)

From Ferrari California 250-GT to a common SUV?

If Ferris is all grown up and driving an average, boring, unexciting SUV (like everyone else), then thats just sad people, SAD. :(

Ferris huskstering vehicles for Honda, not the Ferris I knew from the classic movie. He grew up to be pretty lame as I see it. :P

You want John Hughes to direct a sequel to Ferris Bueller's Day Off.
Howard, you never told us you can raise the dead! >:(
I do like the idea of a follow-up. As for the commercial, LOVED IT, but where were Cameron and Sloane?
If we cannot bring Rooney back as the principal, how about we promote the teacher played by Ben Stein to the role? Couldn't you just hear him over the PA system calling "Bueller Jr.? Bueller Jr.? Bueller Jr.?"
Think about it. :D

Your Pal,
Doc
